Victoria Jane Wells has been writing and editing stories for as long as she can remember. Though she has had jobs in a stable (her first paying job), many restaurants (as waitress and as cook), and a college, most of her work has been bringing books for children and young adults to the marketplace, as an editor, publisher and literary agent. Now Victoria is focusing on writing her own books as well. 

She lives in New York City and Ithaca, New York with her family, including three nearly-grown children, two canaries and a rescue terrier.
